Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Zunaro Pakistan collects, uses and shares information when you use zunaro.pk: the website, the organizer dashboard, and the event pages and tickets it serves (the “Service”). It is written for Pakistan; zunaro.ai has its own.

Who we are

Zunaro Pakistan is operated by Zunaro Technologies (Private) Limited, a company incorporated in Pakistan, whose office is at Suite 701, Anum Estate Building, Main Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi 75400, Sindh, Pakistan. “We”, “us” and “our” in this policy mean Zunaro Technologies (Private) Limited.

Who this applies to

Organizers, who create an account to publish events, and guests, who register for those events. An organizer decides what to ask their guests and is responsible for how they use their guests’ information; Zunaro processes it for them, to run the event.

Information we collect

• Your account. Your name and email address, and your password, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from them.
• Your events. What you publish: the event’s name, date and time, venue or online link, capacity, cover image, ticket types and registration questions. When you type a venue, Google Maps suggests addresses.
• Guests. A guest’s name and email address, their answers to the organizer’s questions (an organizer asks only for what the event needs; if an event requires an ID such as a CNIC number, the organizer asks for it), and the ticket issued to them, with its QR code.
• Messages. What you send us through the chat on our website, on WhatsApp or by email, and the name, email address and phone number you give the chat so we can get back to you.
• Ask Zunaro. What an organizer types to Zunaro’s assistant to create or change an event.
• Usage and device data. Your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you open and when, and the cookies described below.

Paid tickets are not yet sold on Zunaro Pakistan. When they are, payment will be collected by a licensed payment service provider in Pakistan, which receives the payment details it needs; we will update this policy before that happens.

How we use it

• To run the Service: your account, your events, and your guests’ registrations and tickets.
• To send the emails the Service depends on: tickets, confirmations and account notices.
• To answer you when you contact us, by email or by phone.
• To keep the Service secure, and to detect and stop fraud and abuse.
• To understand how the Service is used and improve it, as the Cookies section describes.
• To meet our obligations under the laws of Pakistan.

We use your information because you asked for the Service, because you agreed to it (and you can withdraw that agreement at any time), to keep the Service safe, or because the law requires it.

How we share it

• With the organizer. A guest’s registration goes to the organizer of that event.
• With the providers that run the Service for us, only to do that: Contabo, which hosts our servers; Cloudflare, which delivers the site and checks that a form was sent by a person; Resend, which sends our emails; Google, for Google sign-in, address suggestions, the AI behind Ask Zunaro, and analytics; Apple, for Apple sign-in; Meta and LinkedIn, as the Cookies section describes; and YouTube, only when you press play on the film on our home page.
• With authorities, when the law of Pakistan requires it, such as a court order or a lawful request under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, or to protect people’s safety and the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where your information is stored

Our servers are in the European Union, in France. Some of the providers above work in other countries, including the United States. So your information is stored and processed outside Pakistan. We choose providers that protect it, and it travels encrypted.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your shopping cart. These are always on, because the Service does not work without them.

On our marketing website (zunaro.ai and zunaro.pk), including the page where you create an account, we would also like to use analytics and advertising cookies: Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Google, Meta and LinkedIn provide these tools and receive information such as the pages you visit and details of your device and browser. The Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag are also used on the first page after a new Zunaro or Zunaro Enterprise account is created, to count sign-ups that came from our ads. None of them are used in the organizer dashboard, the box office, the kiosk, checkout or on ticket pages.

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, none of these load unless you accept them in our cookie banner. Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of the marketing website, and a refusal is always honoured. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Organizers can add their own tracking tools to their store pages. Those are the organizer’s, used under the organizer’s own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Your account’s information for as long as the account is open. An event’s registrations and tickets for as long as the organizer’s account keeps the event, and afterwards only as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. Technical logs for as long as the law of Pakistan requires, to keep the Service secure, and no longer.

How we protect it

Everything travels over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, and each organizer’s information is kept apart from every other organizer’s, in our code and in our database. Only the people who need it to run the Service can reach it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot promise that it never will be breached; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you promptly.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it, and you can withdraw any agreement you gave us. An organizer can edit their events and export their guest list from the dashboard. If a guest writes to us about information an organizer collected, we pass the request to that organizer and help them answer it.

Children

You must be 18 or over to open an organizer account. A guest under 18 needs a parent’s or guardian’s permission to register, and we do not knowingly collect information about children without it.

Changes to this policy

We will post any change here with a new date, and tell organizers by email before a significant change takes effect.
